Summary
Airgun Only Adventures is a YouTube channel about hunting with air rifles: invasive iguanas in Florida, nutria in Louisiana, sailfin catfish from an airboat. I edit its long-form episodes and cut vertical versions for Shorts, handing over a finished master with the Final Cut project files alongside.
The work
Cut for the hunt.
Airgun Only Adventures films hunts with air rifles, from invasive iguanas on Florida roadsides to nutria in Louisiana swamps and night hunts in Texas. The footage comes in as hours of handheld, scope-camera, thermal and slow-motion clips. My job is to find the episode in it and make people stay to the end.
Each production gets a code, its own Final Cut library and a master, mostly in 4K. When there’s a moment worth it, it also gets a vertical cut for Shorts. The drive these came from holds about 499 GB of finished work.
